"Olivia" The Native Fire Dancer Made the Cover!

Western North Carolina Gallery Guide

I was  featured in  this Summer and again in the Fall 2010 issue of the Gallery Guide.  Published by the Smoky Mountain News. in Waynesville, NC   Not only is there an article in both seasons, but my painting “Olivia Native Fire Dancer” is the Summer’s  Cover Painting.

“Enola” The Visionary 22X28 Acrylic on Canvas

This Native American Girl named “Enola”, The Visionary was created as an  abstract painting I did.  I took a lot of time deciding her name after I painted it.     The name Enola comes from Indian origin meaning alone and “Enola spelled backwards spells alone.     Four out of Ten people don’t even see her in this abstract, which really surprises me, but I became a believer when it kept happening.    If you do see her, imagine her Invisioning something, and/or viewing in the distance something we can’t see.
